Lyra Von Jane's Test Results
Tester's Deck:Brilliant Vylon Cube Traptrix
Testee's Deck:Blackwing
Win:Loss 1:2 = 5/20
Main Deck Construction = 12/20
I looked at a few Blackwing deck profiles on youtube and there was a few things they all had that you didn't so I'll say it's probable worth it to do what they were doing.
They were all running:
1-2 Blackwing - Pinaki the Waxing Moon
1-2 Blackwing - Harmattan the Dusk
1 Blackwing - Gladius the Midnight Sun
1 Blackwing - Steam the Cloak
2 Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind (where you are running 3)
I believe to accommodate these you'd want to cut (from the monsters at least) Blackwing - Breeze the Zephyr and Blackwing - Sirocco the Dawn as while they were good cards in the past there are a lot more Blackwing cards now (idk why they seriously need to stop making more of them) and these aren't the top picks anymore (also non of the deck profiles ran them). Dark Armed Dragon also isn't probably that worth it.
You don't need 3 copies of Twin Twisters 2 is fine (also the deck profiles were running Mystical Space Typhoon instead so I'd consider that).
You should be running Allure of Darkness at at least 2 and I'd consider running Instant Fusion as it gives you strong options to extend your plays.
You don't need 2 Black Sonic and 3 Quaking Mirror Force, that's far too much attack hate, personally I'd run just a copy of Black Sonic and then maybe 1 (or 2 if you really think you need it) Quaking Mirror Force if you really need more attack stopping options.
Delta - Crow Anti Reverse probably isn't worth main decking as not a lot of decks are trap heavy (I'd put it in the side deck) and even if you wanted to I'd keep it at 1.
Call of the Haunted probably isn't worth it.
Your deck isn't a bad one by any means, but with a bit of touching up (for example by using the things I've discussed in this section) it can be a pretty solid one.
Side Deck Construction = 0/15
No side deck.
You should 100% make a side deck as I can't describe how valuable they are in matches and how they can swing a game in your favour against matchups that you aren't favoured against in game 1 or just to give you a better chance against anything with some generic cards. If you don't know how I'd recommend either asking someone or watching some youtube guide video(s).
Extra Deck Construction = 3/5
You don't need 2 copies of each of those 3 Blackwing synchros you want 1 of each (maybe 2 Blackwing - Nothung the Starlight is fine as 1 of the deck profiles did run him at 2).
All of the deck profiles were running Assault Blackwing - Onimaru the Divine Thunder and the newest Blackwing synchro (I think) Assault Blackwing - Sohaya the Rain Storm, so I'd consider those.
You have Goyo Guardian in the extra deck, but you can't summon him (due to the stupid errata/nerf) as he now requires an earth tuner to summon him.
Generally I feel like there's also a few other options you can consider in the extra deck synchro wise like Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon.
If you need to run 3 Utopia Xyzs I'd run Number S39: Utopia Prime over Number C39: Utopia Ray. I wouldn't recommend running the full 3 package though due to space (especially if you run Instant Fusion as that's a slot taken up by a copy of Elder Entity Norden).
Castel, the Skyblaster Musketeer is better than Number 101: Silent Honor ARK.
Same thing with the extra deck as with the main deck.
You don't need a rank 7.
Use of Cards = 18/20
Game 1 I bricked and you Blackwing - Nothung the Starliught/Blackwing Tamer - Obsidian Joe combod me.
Game 2 I managed to win by having a Treacherous Trap Hole and by beating you down with Number S39: Utopia the Lightning. Wasn't really much you could do.
Game 3 I started off with a Traptrix Rafflesia that you Raigekid (which was probably not the right play as you didn't have an actual play that turn) and then we ended up grinding for a bit, but in the end I was the only one that made big plays leading me to win in the end. Again wasn't really much you could do again as my deck is geared to win in these situations (although there was 1 thing you did that I didn't agree with (see knowledge of opponent's deck comment)).
The match was great (other than game 1 for me where I got smashed as I opened nothing). It basically felt the same as the matches that I play at my locals and a bit could've tipped it in either players favour. Unfortunately for you you couldn't really get any plays off the last 2 games but they were incredibly close even though by just what was on board I was in the lead for the majority of them.
Mistakes = 10/10
Nothing here.
Knowledge of opponent's deck = 9/10
Honestly I was just playing a random deck with the potential to combo off really hard, but as I never drew the cards I needed you were basically playing against a control deck with a bunch of Trap Holes. Wasn't really any problems here although (this is probably incredibly nitpicky, but I still feel like it's valid) I feel like your need to protect Blackwing - Kalut the Moonshadow for the entire last game was a bit misplaced and you could've hit me a lot harder with your Quaking Mirror Force. Leading me to believe that you were either valuing your lifepoints too much or that you aren't totally 100% on knowing the best way to play a control matchup. Probably even summoning it wasn't that worth it as you could've used it later when I tried to attack one of your Blackwings, although it did make your Black Sonic live (and also would give such a hard read that you had another copy in your hand when you actually didn't so that could've mind gamesd someone) you also had a Quaking Mirror Force set, so even if I went off (which you normally wouldn't be able to that hard in a control deck (although mine actually could)) you still had something.
Match Results: 57/100
Congratulations You Made It To: Slifer Red
Honestly you probably deserve at least yellow, but you lost so many points by having a lack of side deck which would've put you in yellow if you got about half marks in that section. The majority of the rest of the points you lost was just on the result of the duel, so if it goes better for you next time and you touch up your deck a bit you should 100% get yellow at the very least.
