Chapter 1: The Crossing pt 1

The assorted duelists gather at the entrance of the ship and stare expectantly at Professor Sartyr. He clears his throat somewhat awkwardly and begins to speak:

"Students.... And staff, we are embarking on this voyage to recover some stolen God cards and return them to their rightful place in the Museum of the King of Games. They were stolen just last week so we should have a high chance of getting to the culprit before they disappear forever. Unfortunately there is some kind of weird haze covering the desert we are heading towards which is blocking our satellite coverage, otherwise finding this thief would be a lot simpler. Therefore in a decision made by our Chancellor I will be guiding this expedition," Pauses for a second to stare pointedly at Crowler and Banner, "And the most important thing for you students... and staff... to do is to form groups of 2-4 duelists. This ship will take about two days to reach our destination and it is my hope that you will be able to form these groups of your own accord. Feel free to duel during the boat ride and find partners that you feel are compatible with yourself."

Clearing his throat again, Professor Sartyr nods jerkily and steps aside on the ramp to the ship before gesturing grandly towards the entrance. "Feel free to come aboard. If anyone has any questions I will mostly be in my cabin during the trip." He nods to himself and begins to walk towards his cabin.

Magileine says to the professors: So uhh, who's team leader? Am I first pick? XD

Shark runs towards the ship, looking for the cafeteria, as he is hungry screaming, "UHHHHHH my tummy!" On his way abroad the ramp into the ship, he slips on a banana, and falls into the water..."Nooooooo".

Violet closed her book and grabed her dueldisc and backpack. she sighed softly and got up "Might as well get my room..."

Jaden after listening to the professor's announcement has an uneasiness about this entire voyage as he had dealt with the Egyptian god cards before so he was wondering if they were the real thing or not. Jaden takes out his deck out of deck slot and searches for his card Yubel. Jaden finds Yubel from his deck and its duel monster spirit appears infront of Jaden. An dark aura appears around the card as Jaden converses with Yubel.

"Yubel I have a certain uneasiness about this voyage to recover the stolen Egyptian god cards.Its possible that we might not return alive."
"Don't say that!"Yubel shouted.
The dark aura around yubel intensified in that very short moment.After a some time passed Yubel calmed down. "Jaden we still need more information about this voyage before we can hastily jump to conclusions." "Your right, I shouldn't jump to conclusions like that." Jaden knew Yubel was right. Jaden decided he needed to form a four man cell of strong duelists and head to Professor Sartyr to start his questioning of everything. Jaden then turned to group of duelists and said with a confident smile "Who wants to form a group of four duelists to recover the Egyptian god cards?" Jaden anxiously waited for a response to his request.

With barely any strength left, Shark found a rope attacked to the ship from the side and swam to it and grabbed on and got some air, "whew!". Shark pulled himself up to the ship and onto the deck, and was soaked in water. "Towel boy!...pointing to Jaden...get me a towel please" and sat down in beach chair.

Magileine gets a towel for Shark since the professors seemed to be busy.

"Make sure you're dry, we don't need a cold. Also, you smell really salty. Like, dude, all these sweets and you choose to be salty? Watch your step next time!"

"Thank you" Shark politely says towards Magileine, and "No need of your services Jaden your free to go..and do whatever slifer slackers do" and goes toward the bow of the ship looking towards the general location of where the Ship is soon to be heading.

Jaden then activates his duel disk.His eyes glow with one eye containing the power of the supreme king and the other containing the powers of yubel.
"If its a duel you want then its a duel you'll get and I'll defeat you infront of everybody!"

"Sorry Jaden no point in a duel...yet!...I'd rather face you when you find a god card and take it" Shark says towards Jaden. "Also, we are heading into a desert, so I'd rather not waste my energy here, Till then, be patient my boy" and bypasses Jaden into the Cafeteria to grab some food.

Crowler enters the ship not amused by the students or the ship in general and decides to reside in his quarters until they arrive or until he is needed. "Alright students I will be in my room. If I am needed do not bother me and no one fall off the ship heavens forbid you make me happy" he says as he starts off to his room.

She walked over to my room and set my things on the bed in the left corner and laid in it sighing.
"Oh,boy...fun... i get to stay on a ship for two days then a desert..

A raven haired boy wearing a red cap and a Slifer Red jackets laying a beach chair facing the ocean wakes up from a long nap. He stretches his arms and yawns. "Are we at the desert yet?' he says to himself. Then he looks around and sees he is surrounded by the ocean. "Guess not." the teen says to himself. The slifer slacker laying in the chair then brings out his deck doing various card tricks such as making his deck seemed like it was floating to snapping his fingers making his card "magically" change into a new card.

Enters the ship with pharaoh in his arms and a backpack on his back....smiles to everyone...

"this should be entertaining isn't that right my dear students ?"

Mike gets out of his chair and decides to roam around the ship. Mike sees his Slifer headmaster aboard the ship holding his beefy cat named pharaoh. Mike gets a devilish grin. The nonchalantly walks towards his Slifer Teacher. "Hey professor Banner, how are you?" he says as he reaches out to shake his teacher's hand.

*feels mike's presents looks back and smiles at him*..oh hey Mike my boy im just fine....

*shakes his hand*....

Jaden declares his final turn as he uses his elemental hero gaia to wipe out the rest of Zayn's lifepoint as it was for jaden with the score being. He had embarrased the obelisk blue duelist and infront of the huge group of duelists. Jaden wondered if they would recognize his skill now.

Mike uses the handshakes to distract banner for a slight of hand trick and pickpocket Banner's wallet. "That's nice professor." Mike begins to smile devilishly and holds out Banner's wallet in front his teacher. "Hey I'm kinda hungry, think I'm gonna buy some food."

Jaden then turns off his duel disk and deactivates his powers. Jaden then accepts Chazz courtesy and shakes Zayns hand."It was a great duel Zayn glad to have you on my team." Jaden said with the utmost respect.

oh sure....i guess its ur treat...Mike..cuz im broke
*notices his wallet in Mikes hand as i smile because that wallet is empty*

Mike chuckles. "I guess you won this time teach." Mike hands Banner back his wallet. "Do you expect much trouble on this voyage? We are going after a criminal holding the Egyptian God cards after all..."

maybe....but im sure my dear students will recover the Egyptian gods no problem...and i'll be around to protect u
