Chapter 2: The Crossing pt 2

After a long night on the ship already having passed, the students awake to find that they were one step closer to reaching their destination. Over the ships speakers they hear Professor Sartyr clear his throat, "Good morning, students.... and staff... We are slightly further than half way to the desert! Remember to find teammates amongst yourselves before we reach our destination! I'm sure I've mentioned it before but this is a dangerous place and you could be in danger of losing your lives, so please make sure you have the appropriate team! That's all for now, if you have any questions you can find me down at the buffet eating some food, you know how I LOVE food huehuehue <crackler>."

Magileine wakes up and dresses up to get ready for the day. He puts on his duel disk and leaves his cabin.

As he walks out, he notices that there is a small gift box with his name on it outside of his room against the wall across his door. Suspicious of it, he puts it in his bag next to his book and deck box. Magileine wants to look for the person who left this gift box, and trying to understand why it was left for him. (The bag is a satchel/messenger bag. Its measurements are 12x10x4 in.)

Before walking out, he notices that some people have names on some cabins,
they were: Nate, Solaris, Selina, Yugi, Greg, Nazaru, Syrus, Zane (not to be confused with Zayn), and Alex.

Magileine has the thought that maybe there could be people in those cabins. He then decides to wait in an upstairs room to avoid disturbing anyone from sleeping, even if the rooms could potentially be empty.

While upstairs, he sits at a random lunch table, and decides to go over his deck and debate on making some changes. He waits for someone else to wake up and duel so he can playtest, just in case something awful happens while he is on this trip.

He notices Professor Sartyr eating, but doesn't want to bug him.

... Magileine realizes his awkwardness for talking to people makes it very difficult to get the team he needs before he lands in the desert. He is thinking that he needs to get a team, and quickly.

Violet woke up stretching then grabbing a few things before heading down to the cafeteria for some food. She made herself a plate and sat down at an empty table eating and reading a book.

Looked up softly as her deep violet eyes stared at him in a deep gaze. "..." She thought for a second then gestured for him to join.

Alex MacEachainn was asleep in the cabin, when the sudden crackle and voice coming from the ships intercom woke her up. "Oh Fack, I dunny even know i'm doon! I better had go find someone" As Alex got her stuff together she left the cabin and halted. "It's gunae be impossible to get a teammate wearing red" Alex left her jacket in the cabin and went out trying to find a partner in just her shirt. As she turned around again she saw the present left for her. "Aye what the fack is this" She bent down and picked it up, it was just a box. She unwrapped it and inside was a cupcake. "Hahaha what cunt has gonaen dun this" She put the cupcake in the room and went out to try and find some peeps. she decided to go port (left side of the vessel). To see if anyone was over there.

Alexis and Atticus decided it would be best to stay in the room on the top deck near the captains room, in the early morning they got ready and left to go back to the front of the ship. It was from there they looked down and saw Zane. "ZANE!"

She giggled softly at the compliment and shook her head no. "No, I'm not in any team.. Why?"
She spoke softly in a gentle tone.

Mike wakes from a long slumber in his cabin. He looks around his room and sees the spirit of the Dark Magician giving magic lessons to various multicolored female magicians. "Yawn, you guys have fun studying. I'm gonna look around the ship." The spirits completely ignore him and continue studying. Mike sighs and walks out his room and begins wandering around the ship.

She shrugs. "I guess I will. don't really have any other groups to join."

After realising literally no one was Port, Alex decided it'd be best to go to the mess hall/cafeteria to see if everyone was getting breakfast, and there we are quite a few people just chilling. Alex thought rather than go and ruin the silences she'd get some toast and just chill checking out her cards

Professor Sartyr notices several students enter the mess hall and hopes that they are able to talk to each other and form teams. He hasn't properly explained how dangerous this expedition was going to be.

Smiled softly then went back to reading her book. "Ok that sounds nice."

Alex sees this guy from Obelisk approaching.. She knew she'd struck gold not wearing her slifer jacket. "Aye mate, the name be Alexandra MacEachainn. but ye can be callin me Alex. I'll be happy to join your lil' clan"

Alex finishes her toast
"nae lad, I'm coming with! Who knows what we might be findin"
